Should you converse via telephone call, you confirm your unconditional acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
We cannot be held responsible for any inaccurate information given in accordance with verbal information given by the customers over the phone. Whilst we endeavour to provide accurate information in terms of compatible models over the phone, there is no 100% accuracy figure as for the best results, its always best that we see the car thats its being installed in, i.e., pictures etc. Also, its a customers responsibility to advise if the car has any upgraded features such as Amplified speakers, Fibre optic, reverse sensors, reverse camera, Bluetooth, AUX, iPod/MP3, original GPS. We will not be held responsible if a customer fails to advise and then finds the model unsuitable upon installation.
The units terminology of the wording 'plug and play' must not be interpreted as plug and play connections. Although, the vast majority of the units are plug and play, on some occasions, modification may need applying to some connections. We cannot be held responsible if the wiring differs slightly.
We cannot be held responsible for loss in radio signal if the purchased unit is not as clear as the original. On rare occasions, you may need to purchase a amplified booster antenna for the car. This applies to some DVB-T appliances to.
Photographs on our website are provided to assist you in identifying the pieces you require. We endeavour to ensure that the digital representations are as accurate as possible but please be aware that some variation may exist between the colour displayed on your monitor and the actual colour of the item in question. Also, with the OEM industry constantly updating, there maybe some small adjustments to the units firmware, graphical interface.
The representation of our product text within the sale page should only be expected on the product received and we are not responsible for buyers assumptions of items working with certain features of the car. For further detailed information, contact us with the relevant model and your query and we will be glad to confirm if its suitable or not.
The product is an aftermarket product so please be knowledgeable to the manufacturers warranty of the car to establish if our unit breaches any of the conditions of the manufacturer as we cannot be held responsible should they do so.
It is imperative that you get the item installed by a registered auto-electrician. Whilst, all units are tried and tested before dispatch, on some occasions they can get damaged in transit so its advisable you get the designated installer to bench test the unit before fully installing which will save on labour costs. We will not be responsible for any installation costs/Ob-board diagnostic checks or relevant costs such as transport/time off work etc.
If you proceed with a on-site installation, the customer will not be responsible for any installation/labour costs until fully satisfied with the product. This only applies to our own site installation in Liverpool.
Upon leaving our installation centre, all installation/labour costs will be non-refundable. Should, a auto-electrician from our database of installers be chosen, this also applies. Although, we may have a database of fitters, they are their own entity and have their own terms and conditions so please check with them prior to fitting.
The contract is created upon delivery of the goods. All contracts to supply are made under Scottish, British and European law.
The receipt by you of an order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of an order. Prior to our acceptance of an order, we may need to verify relevant information. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order, or any portion thereof, even after your receipt of an order confirmation, for any reason. We also reserve the right to limit the order quantity on any item and to refuse service to any customer without prior notification.
In the event that goods are advertised at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders, regardless of whether you have received an order confirmation email, and whether your payment has been received. In such an event we shall of course provide you with full and prompt refund.
All our items carry a 2 year warranty.
ICEBOXAUTO LTD warrants this product (including any accessories) against defects in material or workmanship as follows;
1) LABOUR: For a period of 730 days from the date of purchase, if this product is determine to be defective, we will replace or repair the product, at its option, at no charge. After the warranty period, you must pay for all labour/parts charges.
2) PARTS: In addition, ICEBOXAUTO LTD will supply at no extra charge, new or rebuilt replacements in exchange for the defective parts for a period of 730 days after date of purchase.
To obtain warranty service, you must take the product, or deliver the product freight prepaid in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection to ICEBOXAUTO LTD.
This warranty does not cover customer instructions, installation, set up adjustments or signal reception problems.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use, or modification of, or to any parts of the product, including the antenna. This warranty does not cover damage due to improper operation or maintenance, connection to improper voltage supply, or attempted repair by anyone other than a facility authorized by ICEBOXAUTO LTD to service the product. This warranty does not cover Products sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS, or consumables (such as fuses or batteries).
Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice which is evidence that the unit is within the Warranty period must be presented to obtain warranty service.
This warranty is invalid if the factory applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER. ICEBOXAUTO LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTIAL OR CONSERQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
On our Web site, all prices are in Pounds Sterling. Your credit card company will convert our Pounds Sterling charge into your home currency on your credit card statement. This price may vary slightly from the advertised Euro price due to exchange rate fluctuations. Our exchange rates are updated daily to minimise such variations. Therefore, all prices quoted in currencies other than Pounds Sterling are subject to confirmation.
You may cancel your order prior to shipment, (Working days exclude weekends and public holidays). Notification of cancellation must be in written form (by letter or email), notification by telephone is not sufficient. (This is in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000). You must have notified us and received a returns number from us; any items returned without a number will not be refunded and sent back.
When an order is cancelled according to the procedure described above the full purchase and shipping costs will be refunded to you as long as all conditions are met and the product has not been fitted, registered or has had manufactures security seals broken. This refund will be made promptly and certainly within 30 days, as is required by law. Refund will be made via the same medium as was used for payment..
We shall not be responsible to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for incidental, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, any loss of profit (direct or indirect), loss of sales, loss of goodwill or reputation, loss of business, third party claims, pure economic loss arising out of or in connection of the performance or non performance of our obligations under these terms and conditions including such damage as may be reasonably foreseeable at the date you order the goods.
Online customers 7 days cooling off period
The seven working day cooling-off period starts on the day after you receive the goods.
